Gota Cebrero

Gota's native country is Argentina. Since he remembers, he's been wondering about the mysteries of life. Back then there weren’t many books about spirituality or yoga but the few yogic books he found captivated him deeply and that birthed a new spark. That internal yearning  took him to over 25 countries in his early 20's. Through his searching, he learned the primary series of Ashtanga yoga vinyasa in 1999 from a French yogi who was a direct student of Pattabhi Jois. Gota soon found himself deeply devoted to this practice while traveling and crafting handmade silver jewelry he made from scratch. He then crossed over the ocean to Europe landing in the beautiful country of Switzerland where he discovered Zen meditation. Once again he devoted his life to this practice which led him to Spain to a zen monastery where he steeped in deep mediations and long sitting retreats. Along these years in 2004, he became a certified Shiatsu practitioner which encompasses a type of Japanese digitopuncture and oriental techniques such as ampuku, moxibustion, cupping, auriculotherapy, and do-in(self massage of the meridians ).Through all these years of searching he found so many beautiful yogis, mentors and teachers. This time, he crossed back over the ocean to North America , where he   became a certified  Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500. He now lives in Asheville, NC with his two beautiful daughters and wife enjoying these ancient mountains.

All these years he has been sharing this beautiful path of yoga with any person that is interested, from one-on-one to big or small groups. Gota's style of teaching is a mindful flow where he blends asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation.
