Yin yoga is yoga done with a yin perspective in mind. The yin approach to yoga practice facilitates a receptive state in which you can explore your yin-side or the deeper layers of your mind and body. This weekend will focus on yin yoga's impact on the subtle body: Prana, Pranamaya kosha, Prana Vayus, Nadis/Meridians, Marmas/ Chakras, Subtle Koshas: monomaya, vijnanamaya, anandamaya. Gota and Shala will offer a combination of lecture, practice, and integration experiences including guided yin practices, meditation/visualization, plus exercises to apply an understanding of the subtle body to your own yin practice and teaching.
